Rare Disease Day & Science Day event at the school involved Dr. Duraiswamy Navaneetham explaining about Science as a whole and rare diseases in particular. Color blindness, scientific basis of this malady was explained to students.

Ishihara color blindness plates are displayed on computer screens
After understanding the science basis of color blindness through classroom discussions,
Class I to VIII Students, totaling 50, have enthusiastically participated in the screening at the school.
Ishihara screening was conducted and monitored by rare disease researcher Dr. Duraiswamy Navaneetham on March 9, 2018.
