 Talk, discussion and audio visuals on the perils and hopes of rare diseases were arranged on the Rare Disease Day in an effort to sensitize students .

Locally collected data were released, on Feb. 4, 2014 Rare Disease Day, by rare disease researcher Dr. Duraiswamy Navaneetham (right) and received by the headmaster of Kasangadu GHSS, Mr. Pandian (left).
