Rare Disease Day was jointly organized by Foundation for Research on Rare Diseaases and Disorders, Rare Diseases India and Panchayat Union Middle School, Mannankadu, Tamil Nadu, India.

On Rare Disease Day locally collected suspected rare disease patient data were released by rare disease researcher Dr. Duraiswamy Navaneetham (in white) and received by the headmaster of Mannankadu middle school, Mr. Soundararajan. A few young patients with undiagnosed rare conditions look on.
